Why Choose Aveesha Golden Rice?

Cooking Method:

Ingredients:

• 1 cup 1121 Golden Rice
• 4-5 cups water
• Salt (optional)
• 1 teaspoon oil or butter (optional)

Preparation:

1. Rinse the Rice:
Wash the 1121 Golden Rice thoroughly 2-3 times under running water to remove excess starch.
2. Soak the Rice:
Soak the rice for 120 minutes to allow the grains to expand and cook evenly.

Cooking Instructions (Absorption Method):

1. Boil Water:
In a deep pot, boil 4 cups of water. Add salt and oil/butter if preferred.
2. Add the Rice:
Drain the soaked rice and carefully add it to the boiling water. Stir gently to prevent sticking.
3. Simmer:
Lower the heat to medium, cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid, and let it cook for 16-18 minutes until all the water is absorbed. Avoid opening the lid during this process.
4. Rest:
Once cooked, turn off the heat and let the rice rest for 10 minutes under cover. Uncover the lid and serve appetizing and healthy golden rice

Alternative Methods:

• Open-Boil Method:
Use 5-6 cups of water. Cook the rice uncovered for 8-10 minutes, then drain the excess water and allow the rice to rest for 2-3 minutes.
• Rice Cooker:
Use a 1:2 rice-to-water ratio for soft, fluffy grains. Select the white rice setting and let the cooker finish the process.

Enjoy the aromatic, non-sticky, and perfectly cooked 1121 Golden Rice—ideal for your biryanis, curries, and festive meals!
